Stillwaters’ development vision for the property was to create an historic “settlement” community, respecting the heritage of the place and allowing for a traditional town. Due to its proximity to the tonier residential sections of Bozeman, we believe the project could achieve the higher end of residential sale pricing in the area, although a mix of uses and price points would be necessary in order to foster a community with a town center.
Stillwater concluded the feasibility study phase of this project in Summer 2006 and made several asset management recommendations for the short and intermediate term. . The Church has implemented part of the study’s recommendations and is waiting for market values to increase to a level where the development program becomes financially viable.
