The property is surrounded on three sides by the Perkins family of The Orvis Company, who have created a private spring creek fishing paradise by restoring the spring creeks on their property. With the help of our hydrologist, Gillilan Associates of Bozeman, MT, we have done the same on our property with the restoration and enhancement of our spring creek to a 50 cfs private fishing venue and restoration of the historical alignment and habitat for Jackknife Creek, which had been severely degraded by years of dairy farm operations and over-grazing.
