Creating an Asset Management Strategy for a New Community with Conservation Values
Stillwater was retained by the Seventh Day Adventist Church to conduct a feasibility study for the development of a new community on land owned by the Church immediately east of the Bozeman city limits. The land is composed of approximately 420 acres and is situated just one freeway exit east of downtown Bozeman, near the base of Mt. Ellis. The property lies in the path of the famous Oregon Trail and was once the site of historic Fort Ellis, one of the earliest Montana army outposts. As such, the property has tremendous historical and cultural interest, as well as having wonderful mountain views in virtually every direction.
