                        Land planning tour with our land planner/architect; 
                        Meeting with neighbors on areas of mutual interest and concern; 
                        Title report and easement examination by a local land use attorney; 
                        Review of zoning and planning issues with local officials; 
                        Meeting with a civil engineer to obtain boundary survey; 
                        Meeting with local land trust and/or other stakeholders;  
                        Hydrological study; 
                        Fishery study by local agency and/or university fishery biologist; 
                        Interview of local fish and game officials, and local fishing guides;  
                        Determination of navigability status of streams; 
                        Biological base case assessment (required for conservation easements); 
                        Water rights and water quality investigation; 
                        Mineral and timber rights survey; 
                      Review with potential lending institutions.  |
